Digital Photography I Digital Portfolio

I don't really have any professional influences yet.  I enjoyed reading about some of the photographers in this course but haven't found any that have really influenced me much.  I do have a few people in my family that influence me.  My dad used to do wedding videography on the side and is very creative.  My older brother, Sam, is like my dad in that way as he likes to do creative type stuff.  He enjoys graphic design and has done senior, family, wedding, sports, and drone photography.  It's nice having a few people close if I ever have a question about something.  My portfolio is very diverse.  I've selected some photos that are unique and interesting to me.  The photos you see below have varied settings and environments and really tested my patience and creativity as I worked through this course.  I certainly appreciate photography more now that I've worked through this course.  I didn't realize how difficult it is to correctly expose an image depending on your environment and how difficult it is to compose a good photograph.  To me, photography is important because it catches a very specific moment in time and is something you will always have in the future to preserve that moment in time.  I'm majoring in digital marketing so I see photography as something that will probably be necessary as I advance in my degree.  Photographs tell a story if taken correctly and as a digital marketer, I'll certainly need to be good at story telling to be effective.  I appreciate how you structured this class and how available you were when I had questions...especially during the night photography!  Thanks again!
